As summer winds down, our Arizona yards have likely weathered a lot and can start to look like this picture above! Monsoon season brings much-needed rain, but it can also leave behind a mess. Heavy storms, high winds, and sudden downpours can take a toll on your landscape, leaving debris, damaged plants, and soooo many weeds.

Taking care of your yard now helps prepare it for the cooler months ahead. By clearing away debris, trimming back overgrowth, and removing weeds, youโ€™ll:

  • Prevent weeds from spreading even further in the fall.

  • Protect your plants by removing damaged or broken branches.

  • Improve the overall look of your yard for the new season.

  • Set the stage for any fall landscaping projects or plantings.

What an End-of-Summer Clean-Up Includes

  • Weed removal and prevention treatments.

  • Pruning and trimming trees and shrubs.

  • Clearing out storm debris like leaves, branches, and fallen plants.

  • Refreshing rock, mulch, or turf areas.

  • Checking irrigation systems for leaks or blockages caused by debris.

Giving your yard a thorough clean-up now means less stress later and a beautiful outdoor space you can continue to enjoy into the fall.
