Christmas! 

It certainly is the most wonderful time of the year!

I finally feel like everyone has caught up to me in the sense that everyone is in full Christmas mode now. Call me crazy but I have had my Christmas decorations up since November 1st because I absolutely love it! 

I love everything about Christmas!

I love Christmas music blaring in every store and every car ride, lights outlining houses, hot chocolate for breakfast, family around the tree, and the pure magic that comes from this season.

Although there are countless traditions and things I love about Christmas, this season can also be filled with heartache, stress, and loneliness. It's hard. and I understand you.

However, one thing that has helped me over the years during the holiday season is an initiative called "Light the World." Light the World is a month-long challenge where everyday we are given a small prompt to do something simple, kind, and thoughtful for someone else. It is a good way to look outside ourselves during this time of the year when so many people are looking on themselves. It helps me remember the true meaning of this season which is to give. Because Christ, our Savior, gave everything for us!!

Let us all try to be a little kinder this Christmas season.
