Irrigation Tips for Cooler Weather

It's always a big occasion when it snows in Southern Arizona.

We love it! Probably because we don't have to deal with the side effects of the snow. We just get it for a day or so and then the sun melts it all away.

However, the cool weather is here to stay for a while and I want to share some irrigation tips so you can keep your irrigation systems functioning properly.

The very first thing you need to do is wrap your anti-siphon or back-flow device. You can wrap them with a towel or blanket. Or you can call us and we can wrap it for you.

If you haven't wrapped these items up, this is your warning to go do so right now!!

Also, if you don't have them wrapped up and your pipes froze and broke give us a call ASAP. Broken lines and pipes cause big problems and we would love to help you fix this before it leads to bigger damages.

For more tips, here is a video from CoolFM and Damon, the tree doctor, discussing the importance of irrigation systems, cooler weather, and artificial turf!
